After reports of a shooting in the 500th block of North Edison Tuesday just before 9 a.m., an investigation has resulted in a warrant for Kijanna Nall, 23.
Investigators are asking for information regarding Nall, a 5-foot 11-inches, 225 pound black male.
According to a statement from Greenville Police Department, officers were dispatched to North Edison in reference to shots fired.
“Upon arrival they made contact with several subjects on scene and they advised someone shot at them,” Assistant Chief Michael Merchant said.
“The subjects advised they were located at a tire shop at the location when a black Honda Accord passed by and shot at them,” Merchant continued. “ No one was struck at the location, but a subject was injured when they fell fleeing from the location.”
Investigators of the Criminal Investigations Division were dispatched and began an investigation.
“The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect approached the location and began to fire from the vehicle,” Merchant said. “The motive of the shooting appears to stem from a previous altercation with the suspect and subjects that hang in the area of the tire shop.”
The warrant issued for Nall includes five counts of aggravated assault.
Anyone with information about this shooting or the location of Nall are asked to call the Greenville Police Department or Crimestoppers.
According to GPD, Nall should be considered armed and dangerous and not approached. Law enforcement should be contacted at 662-378-1515, for the Greenville Police Department and 662-378-TIPS. for Crimestoppers.
