Washington School track athetes put on quite a showing last weekend at the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools AAAA Division Meet in Jackson as three Generals captured state titles in the field events.
Washington’s Mollie Warrington won the state championship in both the pole vault and the long jump.
On the boys side, John Bentley Suares won the high jump, Mason Johnson won the long jump and Matthew Wicker won the Pole Vault.

Meanwhile, the Washington School tennis team also had a wonderful weekend. The Washington School Generals clinched the 2019 State Academy AAAA, Division II Boys’ Tennis Championship with 10 1/2 points. This win is Washington’s first boys’ title since 2012.
