The Greenville Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a teenager who has been missing for nearly two weeks.
Sixteen-year-old Kamrone Lee, of Greenville, has been reported as missing since July 11.
Lee is described as a 5’9”, 110-pound black male with black hair and brown eyes.
Assistant Police Chief Michael Merchant said GPD officers were dispatched to 211 Utah St. in reference to a missing juvenile after Lee left his home that morning and didn’t return.
“Upon arrival, they made contact with Amber Hodges, the mother of Kamrone Lee,” he said. “Hodges advised Lee left the residence at approximately 8 a.m. and has not returned.”
Merchant said Hodges described Lee as wearing twist braids and wearing tan-colored pants, a red/grey jacket and black Jordan shoes.
If Lee is seen, people are asked not to approach him and to immediately call law enforcement.
Anyone with information on Lee’s whereabouts is urged to call GPD at 662-378-1515, Crimestoppers at 662-378-TIPS, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
