The Greenville Police Department is seeking the public’s help to find a local woman who has been missing for about three weeks.
Greenville Police Department Assistant Police Chief Michael Merchant said 33-year-old Nikesha Wells was reported missing shortly after 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Wells is described as a 5’2” black female weighing 150 lbs. She wears prescription eyeglasses.
“The complainant is concerned about the whereabouts of Wells,” Merchant said.
Wells’ sister, Zenobia Jackson, said they believe Wells was last seen taking a ride to Jackson.
“We only know what she told a cousin of ours. She supposedly told the cousin she was riding to Jackson with a friend, but no one actually saw her and this friend leave,” she said.
Jackson said the family is trusting God to bring Wells home.
“God is in control. We trust that she will be found,” she said.
Anyone with any information about Wells’ whereabouts is asked to call the Greenville Police Department at 662-378-1515 or Crimestoppers at 662-378-8477.
