GREENVILLE, Mississippi - Gloria Jean Gamberini Marshall, age 90, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, at Delta Health Systems - the Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on June 10, 1935, in Greenville, to Geno and Josephine Gamberini, Gloria spent her entire life deeply rooted in her hometown. A proud graduate of E.E. Bass High School, she carried with her strong work ethic, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to family, faith, and service. Known affectionately as "Glo," she was a radiant presence-fiery, joyful, and unforgettable.
Gloria dedicated 40 years of her life to caring for others through her work at the Clinic for Women, where she worked with Doctors Bledsoe, Byars, and McNeil. Even after retirement, Gloria continued to give selflessly, volunteering her time at St. Vincent de Paul and serving on the Bereavement Committee.
A lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gloria's faith guided her life and her service. She was also active in the Italian Recreation Club, where her vibrant spirit and love of community shone brightly.

She was the glue that held everyone together, fiercely devoted to her children and especially to her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing slots and cards, always with a sparkle in her eye and competitive spirit.
