A pair of Greenville Hornets will be soaring off to play football at the next level.
In the school’s library in front of a plethora of teammates and family, Ted Webster and Jadarian Webb signed their scholarships on Wednesday. Webster will be attending Mississippi Delta Community College and Webb will be attending Coahoma County Community College.
Greenville football coach Quintarus McCray said both of his players put in the hard work in order to make it to the next level.
“Parents thank you for letting me have your boys. I am going to do everything that I can to keep up with them and make sure they continue to be successful,” Coach McCray said.
Coach McCray added that Webster’s and Webb’s journeys are just beginning.
“I am proud of both of them, but it isn’t over yet. When you go to college, you got to get up at 5 o’clock in the morning to workout. You have to be at breakfast check. You have to be at study hall. You have to keep working and do your best.”
