Saturday morning, around 10 a.m., the Greenville Police Department responded to calls about shots being fired in the 900 block of North Theobald Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the body of a Black male lying near the roadway.
Pafford ambulance service, along with the Washington County Coroner’s Office, responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
The victim of the shooting was identified as Reginald Nash, 42, of Greenville.
No details surrounding the shooting have been released, and the victim’s body is being sent for an autopsy.
