GREENVILLE, Mississippi - Mrs. Janet Anne Ferguson, 72 of Greenville went to her heavenly home on June 4th, 2025 at her home of several years surrounded by her family and loved ones. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. at Glendale Baptist Church on Friday, June 6th, 2025. A small graveside service for the family will follow. Rev. John Gentry will be officiating.
Janet was born to Robert and Helen Lawson in Forest City, Arkansas, on January 14, 1953. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wayne Ferguson, as well as her brothers, Bob, David, and Dale Lawson. She was a member of Glendale Baptist Church and worked at Platt Chemical as a secretary for many years. Janet was a beautiful and kind godly woman. She always had kind words for everyone including strangers. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Renee Smith (Sterling Smith) and Frankie Street (Michael Street); granddaughters Destiny Rain McClain (Ian McClain) and Mary Elizabeth Street; great-granddaughter Khaleesi Chase; sisters Linda Hayes and Carla Lawson; and brothers Terry Lawson and Dennis Lawson.
