INDIANOLA, Miss. – Funeral services for J.B. Johnson, 85, of Indianola, will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Church in Indianola. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, at Byas Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rev. Ellis Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was born April 17, 1940, and died Aug. 9, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Howard Johnson; children, Johnnie Johnson, Julia Johnson Harrington (Terence), Cynthia Forrest (Gary), Lakeisha Howard, and Derreon Johnson; 18 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
