The business of beauty is a growing one and Renew Delta Aesthetics & Wellness, 1687 S. Main St., is poised to meet the demand.
A ribbon cutting was held last Tuesday for the new business whose owners are brother and sister, Dr. Brett Zepponi and Lindsey Mandara — chief executive officer.
Zepponi serves as the medical director of Renew Delta, which offers various medical services to esthetician services and “everything in between.”
Mandara was asked how the idea for Delta Renew came about.
“My brother actually approached my husband and I one day on the beach, probably five years ago, and ever since then we have tossed around the idea of a med spa and finally executed on it last year once things started falling into place,” she said. “Now, we have evolved into an aesthetics and wellness center, which is even more perfect than I had imagined.”
Having “toyed” with exploring such an endeavor for quite some time, Mandara and Zepponi could only let their shared passion for excellent health from the inside out sit still for so long.
“There was a lot of “one day” mentioned in most of our conversations. In 2021, I finally decided it was now or never and Brett hopped on board rather quickly!” she recalled. “Brett and I truly work extremely well together. It definitely helps that we have the same work ethics and mindset when it comes to building a business. Where I struggle, he thrives...and vice versa.”
Mandara has long been immersed in the area of health and wellness personally and professionally as she is also a certified nutrition coach.
And it goes practically without saying, her brother’s work as a medical doctor is well pronounced.
The two are aligned in their views and are extremely passionate about the wellness of others, especially in their community.
Together, their goal is to make a difference and help people feel confident when they walk out of the doors of Delta Renew.
“I think that our strong desire to help our community thrive and our knowledge in the health and wellness space is a differentiator for sure,” Mandara responded when asked what she and Zepponi contribute respectively to their establishment. “I think something else that helped contribute was me also being in Wall Street and learning the ropes of business in Chicago, New York and Boston plus building a small business of my own prior to Renew Delta helped us on the front end of building Renew Delta.”
She continued, “I knew the lay of the land a little better, which gave us a head start at least. And Brett has been amazing with his knowledge in the medical space.”
One of the most requested among Delta Renew’s menu of services, in the scope of aesthetics, is the Hydrafacials, Mandara believes.
On the medical side of the business, she said, Hormone Therapy Testing plus pellet insertion is becoming the most popular.
Delta Renew’s aim is to make clients feel extremely welcomed the second they walk in the door.
“We tried to create a very clean and tranquil environment. Whether you are coming in for skin rejuvenation or to optimize your hormones and gain more energy, our primary goal is for our customers to feel more confident in their overall wellbeing,” Mandara illustrated.
She also highlighted the business’s “incredible” staff.
“We could not do this if it weren’t for them. They care so much about each one of their patients/clients — from answering the phone to being treated, they absolutely have your best interest in mind,” she shared. “I mean that with my whole heart. We are very lucky to have them.”
If Renew Delta does seem like “just another medical spa,” Mandara assures it is not.
More than anything, Mandara and Zepponi wanted to bring something “very special” to their hometown in the Mississippi Delta.
“This is only the beginning for Renew Delta, and we can’t wait to grow with our community,” she added. “The support that we have received so far is astonishing, and we wouldn’t be where we are in just these five short months if it weren’t for that. This has truly been a dream come true and I am extremely honored to be sharing it with my brother.”
