HOLLANDALE — The needs of students in the Hollandale community, like many other places, are perpetual.
As the school year continues, folks are stepping in to make sure those needs are met.
Former educator and Hollandale School Board trustee Shirley Williams is hosting a Back to School giveaway along with fellow board members from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Castlewood Park.
Williams serves as president of the board and said the giveaway is just one of the ways in which the board members want to give back to the children in the community.
Students will have a chance to win door prizes during the event as well.
