The City of Greenville’s upcoming municipal election is scheduled for Oct. 4, 2021.
A slate of city council seats for Wards 3, 4 and 5 are up for election or reelection.
Vying for the Ward 3 council seat are incumbent Vernon Greenlee (I) and Rosetta Williams (D).
Ward 3 voters will cast their ballots at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1865 S. Main St.
Incumbent Lurann Thomas-Kingdom (D) and George-Patrick Johnson (D) are contesting for the Ward 4 council seat. Ward 4 Voters will cast ballots at the Senior Citizens Civic Center, 142 N. Shelby St.
Running for the Ward 5 council seat are incumbent Tasha Bailey-Banks (D), Bill Brozovich (I) and Catherine Maxwell Gardner (D). Ward 5 voters will cast ballots at the Elwyn Ward Recreation Center, 1648 Mississippi 1 S.
To cast a ballot, voters must have a valid government-issued photo identification, which can include a driver’s license, a state-issued ID card, a passport, a government employee ID card, a firearms license, a student ID from any Mississippi college, a military ID or a Mississippi Voter identification card.
