With the start of the new school year looming, local school districts have opened up registration for its students.
The Greenville Public School District’s McBride Pre-K Academy and Webb Prep Kindergarten registration is currently open.
The GPSD 2021-2022 school year officially gets underway Friday, Aug. 6 and GPSD is encouraging parents to take advantage of the early registration as spots are quickly filling up.
Requirements for registration include the online registration code, two proofs of residency, Form 121 Immunization and birth certificate.
Parents looking to register their child should contact his or her respective school —McBride at 662-334-7146 and Webb Prep at 662-334-8100 — for the registration code.

Registration for Coleman Middle Students opened Tuesday and will run through Friday beginning 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.
Assistance with online registration will be provided as well according to the announcement issued by CMS and more details can be found by contacting the school at 662-334-7036.
The Western Line School District registration ends Friday and its schools will be open from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. for assistance and new student enrollment.
The WLSD school year officially begins Thursday, Aug. 5.
Leland School District will receive students beginning Thursday, Aug. 5 as well.
Registration for LSD is open and Superintendent Jesse King is asking that all parents register their children at the respective school online.
Should parents of LSD encounter technical issues while attempting to register their children online, parents may come to the school and register their child in person.
Registration for students in the Hollandale School District opens today and will run through Friday, Aug. 6, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in the Simmons Gymnasium.
Registration requirements include the student’s birth certificate, social security card, two proofs of residency, parent/guardian identification and immunization (new students and 7th graders only).
Per the HSD registration announcement, students must have returned all checked out devices to complete registration for the new school year.
