Bone 40 Productions owner and event organizer Toney Baldwin said his company typically does shows in Greenville year round with one reason being its appreciation of the people and the support they give.
“We’re trying to bring Greenville back to the area of where it used to be — a Mecca for entertainment,’’ Baldwin said.
The possibility of the Delta Soule Picnic Festival being an annual affair is a likely one. In fact, Baldwin said it’s the plan.
“As long as the citizens in Greenville and the surrounding areas want BONE 40 to come, we’re going to come,” he asserted. “That’s what we are trying to do – bring great entertainment back to the great city of Greenville.”
Although Baldwin is a Vicksburg native, his heart for entertainment resides in Greenville and is why he is so eager for folks to witness what he anticipates to be a phenomenal show.
He added, “We want them to come out and take part in this event because this is a representation of them. Even though it’s a BONE 40 production, it’s the City of Greenville that we are promoting.”
Baldwin said he wanted to give special thanks to the Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as to all the local officials who supported him and fellow organizers.
