Local police are seeking the public’s help to locate the person responsible for a man who was found dead Tuesday night.
At about 10 p.m. Tuesday, officers with the Greenville Police Department found a shot black male at the corner of Starling and Ninth streets.
The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Jenarius McNeal.
Assistant Police Chief Michael Merchant said both emergency medical personnel and the Washington County Coroner were notified, at which time McNeal was pronounced dead.
McNeal’s death is being investigated as a homicide, according to Merchant.
“No suspect information at this time. Investigators are currently following up on all leads,” he said.
