A celebration of the years of hard work and effort for three O’Bannon High School football players took place Wednesday at the school as all three of them signed a letter of intent to play football at the next level.
Quintarius Lovett signed with Mississippi Delta Coahoma Community College. KeShawn Kingdom signed with Coahoma Community College. Quintarus McCray II singed with Hinds Community College.
During the ceremony, O’Bannon head football coach Lynn Lang said he was proud of all three of these players.
“These three each comes here today with their own story. When they first came here as ninth graders, I had the best seat in the house to watch these young men grow,” Coach Lang said.
Western Line Superintendent Dr. Lawrence Hudson was also in attendance
“You can get anywhere you want to from here. These young men are going to schools where they will compete against each other, but after the game they will still be brothers,” Dr. Hudson said.
