The Washington Generals gave it their all in their 28-27 loss against Indianola Academy. Coach Lott commented, “I feel like we got beat.”
The Generals had four touchdowns in Friday's game. Patrick Spencer scored once, running for seven yards. He also completed three passes for touchdowns. One was caught by Ty Signa where he ran for 24 yards to score, another to Aidan Jones who ran for 24 to score, and a final throw to Fred Nailer who ran for 30 yards.
The General defense made some good plays including two fumble recoveries, one by senior Christian Britt and one by sophomore Parker Brown.
The Generals will be back at home next Friday, September 23 at 7 p.m. for their homecoming game against the Magnolia Heights Chiefs.
