The Washington School Junior Varsity cheerleaders were awarded runner up in the MAIS State Cheer Competition in the Traditional Tumbling 5A division on Wednesday in Jackson.
The cheerleaders on the team are Hannah Mills, Mallie Bruton, Bella Durastanti, Maddie Potter, Lawton Poole, Caroline Horn, Hannah Kate Hooker, Kendall Durastanti, Maggie Wade, Anna Scott Mitchell and Aubrey Jones, Khloe McCork, Emelie Walker, Mia Andrews, Allie Bennett and Lily Glenn. Anne Marie Shelley is the team sponsor and Johanna Walker is the assistant.
Meanwhile, varsity cheerleader, Kaylynn Brewer, was named MAIS Stare All-Star Cheerleader in the Tumbling Division
