Both the Washington School boys and girls track teams won the state championship at the MAIS Class 4A State Track Meet at Madison-Ridgeland Academy this Saturday.
Washington School’s Reid Henderson won a state championship in the 100 meter dash, the 200 meter dash and the 4X200 Relay.
Cedric Dove won the state championship in the 110 Meter Hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles.
Prentiss Doolittle won the state championship in the long jump.
Bella Durastante won the state championship in the pole vault.
The Washington School relay teams also won state championships in the Boys 4X200 Relay, the Boys 800 Meter Relay, the Girls 4X100 Relay and the Girls 4X800 Meter Relay.
