The 100 Black Men of the Mississippi Delta successfully hosted its Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, in downtown Greenville, bringing together a wide cross-section of the community to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The parade drew participation from elected and appointed officials, schools, marching bands, social and civic organizations, fraternities and sororities, churches, faith-based organizations, youth and student groups, businesses, and community stakeholders, all united in a shared commitment to service, leadership, and unity.
More than a celebration, the event served as a powerful reminder of Dr. King’s enduring vision and the responsibility to inspire the next generation to carry his dream forward. Participants demonstrated solidarity and purpose as they celebrated the values Dr. King championed—justice, equality, and hope.
Through strong community engagement and youth involvement, the parade highlighted the power of coming together to uplift one another and reaffirm a collective commitment to progress. The 100 Black Men of the Mississippi Delta expressed appreciation to all who participated and helped make the 2026 parade a meaningful and memorable tribute to Dr. King’s legacy.
