After two scheduling changes due to the recent inclement weather, Mayor Errick Simmons announced that he will deliver the State of the City Address at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 4.
The event will be streamed live to the City of Greenville’s Facebook page and aired on local channel 12.
Simmons said he encourages all residents and stakeholders to join in to hear the city’s success, accomplishments and progress in the city.
““The past five years have sailed by, but not without some good news for residents of Greenville. Great things are happening in the City of Greenville. The promise of progress is being fulfilled through our collective efforts,” Simmons said in a press release. “I am proud of the progress we’ve made together. With over $200 million in new investments during this administration. I look forward to another productive year as mayor of this great city. I encourage all residents and community stakeholders to join in to hear about the good work being done here in the City of Greenville.”
