Unofficial results for the Municipal Primary Elections for the cities of Hollandale and Leland are in.
Hollandale mayoral candidate Peresa Causey finished ahead of incumbent Charles Morrow with 244 votes while Morrow brought in 214 votes.
Unofficial total number of votes for mayoral candidate Contaveia Johnson is 108.
The mayoral run-off election for Hollandale has been set for April 27.
Winning the Alderman-At-Large race was Janice Potts-Williams with a total of 293 votes. Alderman-At-Large incumbent Ronnie Williams rang in a total of 257 votes.
Ward 1 Alderwoman and incumbent Geraldine Haggard who ran uncontested had a total of 106 votes.
Kenneth Knight secured the Ward 2 alderman seat with a total of 90 votes and opponent Ivory Johnson, 68 votes.
Ward 3 incumbent Briyine Smith will serve another term as he brought in a total of 104 votes and opponent Valerie Wilson-Wilbert, a total of 43 votes.
Ringing in 81 votes, Angela Warren-Lidge will serve as Ward 4 alderwoman. Incumbent Jessie Williams finished with 56 votes.
The City of Hollandale, unofficially, had a total number of 566 out of 1589 registered voters to participate in Tuesday’s election.
Leland election
Unofficial results for the City of Leland's Ward 3 Alderman election show candidate Gabrielle Johnson was the frontrunner ringing in a total of 109 votes.
Opponent incumbent Lisa Bush finished with a total of 64 votes.
