Hollywood has come to Mississippi!
ABC’s new limited series, “Women of the Movement,” began production back in January. Homebase for the show is Greenwood and they plan to film portions of the series all over Mississippi, including Greenville. Keep an eye out, you may see them around town!
The series takes place during the height of the Civil Rights struggle, when 14-year-old Emmett Till was lynched in Money, Mississippi, in 1955.
Ray Fisher is set co-star in “Women of the Movement,” from creator-writer Marissa Jo Cerar and a producing team that includes Jay-Z, Will Smith and Aaron Kaplan.
The Extras Casting department is looking for Mississippi locals to work as background actors! To get involved, follow facebook.com/jacasting.
