Bush’s open new business to serve local community

To say they’re a power couple is an understatement. Cedric Bush serves as a Washington County Justice Court Judge. His wife, Lisa, is the City of Leland’s Vice Mayor. They’ve been married for almost 28 years and Sunday when the doors to Judge’s Sports Corner officially open, they will be running two businesses in their hometown of Leland.

Alderman makes most of opportunity

It’s been a whirlwind week for former Newton County Academy standout Kemp Alderman.
In just a week’s time, Alderman went from being a redshirt to the toast of Oxford.
On Tuesday, Alderman started in left field for Ole Miss in a win over Arkansas-Little Rock. Alderman went 1-for-4 in the game, getting his first collegiate hit.
