NATIONAL SUMMARY
A massive storm will bring wide-ranging impacts to the
entirety of the central United States tomorrow. Heavy snow
and strong winds will create blizzard conditions across
portions of the Rockies and northern Plains. A mix of rain,
snow and ice will target parts of Minnesota, while largely
rain will fall in Iowa. On the warm side of the storm, a
dangerous severe thunderstorm threat will arise along the
Gulf coast. Portions of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and
Mississippi are at the most risk for storms that can produce
hail, damaging winds, tornadoes and flooding downpours.
Elsewhere, a largely dry and cool day is in store along the
eastern U.S. The West Coast will also get a break from
adverse weather.
