NATIONAL SUMMARY
Spotty morning showers and thunderstorms will stretch from
South Texas to central Louisiana tomorrow. Farther east,
locally heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms could cause
flooding from central Alabama to eastern North Carolina.
Rain may reach as far north as southern Virginia. Morning
rain and snow showers are likely from northeastern Wisconsin
to northern Lower Michigan. A bit of snow can dot the
northern Rockies, while either rain or snow showers will
occur in the central Rockies. A new system will slowly move
ashore in the Pacific Northwest, with rain primarily
impacting northwestern Washington. Precipitation may be
heavier by Sunday, and the combination of rain and melting
snow may cause some flooding in the Washington Cascades.
