NATIONAL SUMMARY
A frontal boundary crossing the northern Plains and Upper
Midwest tomorrow will bring rounds of gusty thunderstorms to
the Dakotas and Minnesota. In addition to strong winds,
locally heavy rainfall can occur with these storms as well.
A few thunderstorms will also develop across the northern
and central Rockies. Meanwhile, a seasonably hot and humid
air mass will produce a few afternoon thunderstorms across
parts of the Southeast. High pressure should provide a
mainly dry day for the Eastern Seaboard, but there can be a
few showers across parts of northern New England. Drenching
showers and thunderstorms that may produce localized flash
flooding can develop across parts of the lower Ohio Valley
and mid-Mississippi River Valley. It will be mainly warm and
dry across the Southwest.
