NATIONAL SUMMARY
Snow showers and localized snow squalls can bring brief
whiteouts to the Northeast tomorrow. A few showers can

A new system coming ashore in the Pacific Northwest will
bring rain to coastal Washington by the afternoon. Snow is
expected in the Washington Cascades, northern Idaho and
northwestern Montana. The storm will eventually strengthen
and bring widespread snow to the northern Rockies on Sunday
and Sunday night, before moving into the northern Plains and
Midwest early next week. Ahead of the system, a mild and
