NATIONAL SUMMARY
A departing storm on the East Coast will continue to bring
showers across the mid-Atlantic region tomorrow. A second
storm bringing snow to the central and southern Rockies will
emerge into the central United States. The storm will pull
Gulf moisture northward into the Mississippi Valley,
resulting in soaking downpours across the region.
Thunderstorms are expected to develop along the Gulf coast,
some of which can be strong. Cold air will filter across the
South Central states and ice will develop from northern
Texas to central Missouri. In the Southwest, mountain snow
showers will persist while low-elevation showers will shift
across Southern California and southern Arizona. Dry and
chilly conditions are expected across much of the Northwest.
