The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, April 3, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a potent storm tracks across the eastern United States,
wet weather will continue across much of this region
tomorrow. Heavy rain and strong thunderstorms are likely
across the mid-Atlantic, where thunderstorms can bring
flooding downpours and locally damaging winds. Showers and
thunderstorms will spread farther south and east from the
Midwest to the southern Atlantic Coast. Farther north, rain
can mix with and even transition over to snow across the
Great Lakes and the interior Northeast. Conditions can
rapidly worsen overnight in northern New England as strong
winds and heavy snow develop. On the other side of the
nation, showers will return to the Northwest as another
storm begins to move into this region. Dry weather will
continue across the Southeast and the center of the country.
