NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will travel southeastward over the Great Lakes
tomorrow, spreading showers and thunderstorms across the
region. Gusty winds and small hail can accompany any
thunderstorm, most likely across Ohio, western Pennsylvania
and western New York. There can be a spotty afternoon
thunderstorm along the coast from North Carolina to
Mississippi. Very warm weather will continue in the
Southeast with temperatures above historical averages. A
zone of severe thunderstorms is expected to develop from
western Kansas to Texas and Louisiana by the afternoon
hours, and thunderstorms will be capable of producing
locally damaging wind gusts and large hail. Spotty showers
will dot the Rockies, while another storm will begin to move
into the Northwest, bringing showers to this region.
