NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm moving across the northern portions of the nation
will spread showers and thunderstorms across the Northeast,
mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes tomorrow. Some thunderstorms
can become strong from Virginia to New England and will be
capable of producing gusty winds, small hail and localized
flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. A cold front
moving across the southern portions of the nation will dot
the southern Plains and Southeast with afternoon showers and
thunderstorms. Strong winds will continue across the
northern Rockies, northern Plains and southern Canada and
can cause tree damage, travel delays and localized power
outages. Meanwhile, dry and warm weather for most across the
West as high pressure remains in control of the weather.
