The Nation's Weather for Saturday, November 16, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Snow showers will affect northeastern Utah, southeastern
Idaho and western Wyoming tomorrow. A steadier snow in
eastern Montana will move into Canada by the afternoon. On
the southeastern side of the steady precipitation, the air
will be warm enough for rain to fall in far southeastern
Montana and west-central and north-central North Dakota. An
offshore storm may cause a few showers in northern and
central Maine, but the rest of the nation east of the
Mississippi River should be dry. A new storm approaching the
Pacific Northwest is expected to begin to spread rain and
mountain snow into western and central Washington state and,
by the afternoon, into northwestern Oregon. Fire weather
will again be a concern in southern New England and the
northern mid-Atlantic.
