The Nation's Weather for Sunday, March 16, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers and thunderstorms are set to spread across the Ohio
Valley and East Coast states tomorrow, bringing the risk of
flooding downpours and localized damaging wind gusts of
55-65 mph. A tornado also cannot be ruled out from northern
Florida to North Carolina. Meanwhile, the Midwest is
forecast to be breezy and rain and snow will fall across
portions of Wisconsin and Michigan. Partly sunny skies and
warmer conditions are on the way for much of the Southwest;
however, it will still be cool along the California coast
and in mountainous terrain. Rain is projected to stretch
across the Northwest and will be especially heavy along the
Oregon and Northern California coast. Across the Cascades
and Rockies, precipitation will fall as snow, leading to
poor visibility and difficult travel along the passes.
