The Nation's Weather for Monday, March 17, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain is forecast to move off the Northeast Coast early
tomorrow, but clouds will continue to linger throughout the
day, whereas low humidity can be expected in the Southeast.
Meanwhile, plenty of sunshine is in store across the South,
Mississippi Valley and Ohio Valley, and warm and breezy
conditions will spread across the Plains; however, a stripe
of snow will clip far northern portions of North Dakota and
Minnesota. Showers and mountain snow are projected to spread
from the Northwest to California. Snow across the Sierra
Nevada and Cascades will be heavy, leading to poor
visibility and difficult travel along interstates going
through the mountains. There will also be a couple of
thunderstorms capable of producing gusty winds and small
hail across portions of central California.
