The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, March 26, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast to drench the
Pacific Northwest tomorrow. Storms in the afternoon will be
capable of producing flooding downpours, damaging wind gusts
of 50-60 mph and even hail. Meanwhile, the Southwest can
expect temperatures well above the historical average.
Warmth will also extend across the Rockies, Plains and the
Southeast. The Plains can expect sunshine and some patchy
clouds throughout the day, which will make for a great day
to be outside. However, storms early in the day will stretch
from northeastern Texas to southern Arkansas and northern
Louisiana. Elsewhere, cool conditions are projected across
the Great Lakes and Northeast, and snow and rain showers
will extend from New York to Maine. The Southeast will be
dry with partly sunny skies.
