The Nation's Weather for Friday, November 4, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms capable of flash flooding, hail, damaging wind
gusts and even a tornado will rumble from southeastern
Kansas to Texas tomorrow. These storms will march eastward
as far east as southwestern Missouri, western and central
Arkansas and western Louisiana at night. Farther north,
thunderstorms are not expected to be severe in southern
Iowa, northeastern Kansas and northwestern Missouri, but
heavy rain will still pose a risk of flooding. A persistent
onshore flow could bring a few showers to southeastern
Virginia and eastern North Carolina. The next storm will
slam into the Northwest, with heavy rain in western and
central Washington and northwestern Oregon. Some of the rain
may be heavy enough to cause flooding, particularly in
low-lying and poor drainage areas.
