Two local schools raised a total of $6,000 through the Chrysler’s Cars for Classrooms fundraiser held in the fall.
On Oct. 22, James Ceranti Motors partnered with TR Sanders Elementary School in Hollandale and Weddington Elementary School in Greenville on Oct. 24 to raise $3,000 for each initiative.
Through Chrysler’s Cars for Classrooms fundraiser, the Chrysler brand contributes up to $3,000, toward the school on behalf of every test drive participant.
During the fundraiser, all test drive participants were automatically entered for a chance to win the 2019 FCA US LLC Sweepstakes, where one grand prize winner will receive a vehicle credit of $70,000 toward the winner’s choice of an FCA US LLC vehicle from the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Truck or Fiat brands.
Steve Yandura, Southwest Business Center Regional Director, said the events were a fun way to raise funds for each of the schools through Ceranti Motors.
“On behalf of the Chrysler brand and the dealership, I would like to personally thank everyone who took the time to participate in this test drive to help us raise money for such a deserving group of students,” Yandura said.
Since 1993, the brand had helped to raise over $7 million through fundraising test drives. For more information, visit cars4classrooms.com.
