The municipal trash pickup schedule will be altered this week as the city observes the Thanksgiving holiday.
Garbage and trash routes scheduled to be picked up on Tuesday and Thursday were completed on Tuesday.
Routes scheduled to be picked up on Wednesday and Friday will be completed today.
Greenville City Hall and the Washington County Court House will both be closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday. Residents with emergencies can call 662-378-1699.
In the Town of Metcalfe, the town hall will be closed today, Thursday and Friday.
In the City of Leland, the trash pickup schedule won’t be affected and Leland City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Trash pickup will be picked up as regularly scheduled for the Town of Arcola and the City of Hollandale, whose city halls will both also be closed Thursday and Friday.
