The 100 Black Men of the Mississippi Delta is getting ready to host its annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Parade.
To commemorate and honor the life of Dr. King, the entire community is being asked by the organization to attend the parade in participate in the festivities.
The parade is set to start at 11 a.m. Jan. 18 in downtown Greenville.
The theme of this year’s parade is Dr. King’s 20/20 Vision — A time to empower, strengthen and bridge barriers for a “Beloved Community.”
Following the parade will be the annual King Day Program set for 11 a.m. Jan. 20 at Mount Mariah MB Church, 611 Gamble St.
The 100 Black Men is inviting the whole of the community, young or old, male or female, to embrace and join the organization’s effort to remember, relive and revisit their commitments to freedom, justice and equality for all.

All participants must submit a participation entry form no later than Jan. 16.
