EUDORA, Arkansas — Graveside services for Billy Joe Bishop Sr., 82, of Eudora, AR was held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens of Leland, on Friday, February 10th, 2023 at 11 am. Mortimer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Billy was born to Dema Bishop and Della Cates in Hillhouse, MS on February 16th, 1940. He was a truck driver for Morris Transportation of Hamburg, AR for many years. He was a resident of Eudora and a member of Northside Baptist Church of Eudroa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Bishop, one daughter: Terri (Dic) Fournier of Kentucky, a son: Billy Bishop Jr. of Atlanta, GA, and a stepson: Jeffery (Mickey) Hendrix of Moro Bay State Park, AR. He is also survived by three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Reverend Robert Bingham will be officiating the services.
