Cordelia Jackson
GREENVILLE — Mrs. Cordelia Jackson, 89, formerly of Greenville, died Aug. 10, 2020, at the Pearland Medical Center in Pearland, TX. Mrs. She was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by five sons and three daughters. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Deacon Jerry (Vera) Barnes, of Phoenix, AZ, Reggie Tyrone Barnes (Debra), of Virginia Beach, VA, Tommy Barnes ,of Greenville, Robin Paul Jackson, of Ruston, LA, Fredrick Alton Jackson, of Las Vegas, NV, Leanna Shorter (Lonnie), of Greenville, Claudia White-Lubin (Moise), of Houston, TX, and Debra Williams of Phoenix, AZ; 60 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Celebration services will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rosary service will start at 9 a.m., followed by Mass at 9:45 a.m. Masks are required. Due to the COVID–19 pandemic, rosary and funeral services are being reserved for immediate family only. Burial will be at 11 a.m. at Delta Memorial Gardens. All family and friends are welcome.
