SHELBY, Mississippi – Funeral services for Jerry Benjimen Taylor, 78, of Shelby, who died Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, were held Feb. 24, 2024, 2:30 p.m. at the Community Chapel, Shelby, with Rev. Marvin Perkins officiating. Visitations were Feb. 23, 2024, at Byas Funeral Home, Shelby, 4-6 p.m. Burial followed services at Moriah Cemetery, Winstonville, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home.
He is survived by sons, John Simmons, Jerry Donn, and Dondre Stancele, daughters, Valentia Taylor, Shante Taylor Singletary, and Natasha Clark, brother, Walter Taylor, sister, Verline Taylor-Davis, fourteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
