Joe Few Jr.
GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Joe Thomas Few Jr., 73, of Greenville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Mortimer Funeral Home, 711 U.S. 82 E., Greenville, with Bro. David Lee officiating. He died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019, in Natchez. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home.
Joe was born July 11, 1946, the son of Joe T. Few Sr. and Martha Slaughter Few, in Gunnison. Joe served in the Mississippi National Guard and worked at Greenville Paint and Glass for years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and a board member on the Washington County Drug Task Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Krystal Few; and sister, Martha Tackett.
He is survived by his wife, Vernice C. Few; two sons, James R. Few, of Memphis, Tennessee, and Robert T. (Myra) Few, of Natchez; and a brother, John Few, of Jackson.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at Mortimer Funeral Home.
