MOORHEAD — Funeral services for John Howard Bailey Jr., 104, of Moorhead, will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Trinity House of Prayer, Moorhead. He died March 3, 2023 at his home. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Moorhead, under the direction of Dillon Funeral Home, Indianola.
He is survived by eight sons, John Howard Bailey Jr., Long Beach, CA, Robert (Laverne) Bailey, of Memphis, Leon Wright, of Pompano, FL, Curtis Bailey, of Houston, TX, Aaron Cooper, of St Louis, Rico Bailey, of Moorhead, Demetrie Woodard, of Moorhead, Jeremy Jones, of Moorhead: 14 daughters, Beatrice Bailey Williams, of Chicago, Gwendolyn Bailey , of Chicago, Ruby Bailey-Heard, of Anaheim, CA, Christine Mayfield, of Collierville, TN, Alice(Eugene) Singleton, of Gulfport, MS, Betty (Oliver) Matthews, of Gulfport, Deborah Bailey, of Gulfport, Lillie (Curtis) Nash, of Moorhead, Elaine (James) Simpson, of Sunflower, Felicia (Charles) Nash, of Sunflower, Jacqueline Bailey-Hall, of Moorhead, Demetria (Charles) Carroll, of Moorhead, Sherron (Myron) Williams Stanley, of Arlington, TX, and Lexis Miller, of Moorhead.
Visitation will be Friday from 3:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pastor Gary Perryman will officiate.
