GREENEVILLE, Tennessee - Graveside services for Lillian C. Jennings of Greeneville were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Leland-Stoneville Cemetery in Stoneville. A visitation was held at 10 a.m. at Boone Funeral Home in Leland. Local arrangements were under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland, and out-of-town arrangements were under the direction of Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home in Greeneville, Tennessee.
Lillian C. Jennings, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the age of 90. Originally from Mississippi, she had been a resident of Greeneville, Tennessee, for 25 years. She was a homemaker who was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Nona Carnley, her brother, Harold "Spike" Carnley, her first husband, Charles Collins, and her late husband, Ralph Jennings.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Stacy (Tim) King and Terry (Joey) Tillery, both of Greeneville, Tennessee, and her sister-in-law, Evelyn Grice, and niece Gay Scruggs of Huntsville, Alabama, along with the joy of her life, her grandchildren, their spouses, and great-grandchildren: Collin (Laura) King, Tyler (Lexi) King, Lauren (Jacob) Johnson, Joseph (Javan) Tillery, all of Greeneville, Tennessee; Josh (Meredith) Tillery of Nashville, Tennessee, Jake (Charli) Tillery of Columbia, South Carolina, and Jackson Tillery of Knoxville, Tennessee, as well as four great-great-grandchildren and three soon to be expected.
She was a faithful follower of Jesus and a member of First Baptist Church in Greeneville, Tennessee. "Nana" will be missed greatly!
