Martha Lindsay
GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Martha A. Lindsay, 85, of Greenville, were held Saturday, July 18, at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020, at her home. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lindsay was born in Greenville and attended Greenville High School. She was married to Wallace Lindsay, whom she followed around the world throughout his time in the Air Force. Mrs. Lindsay was a devoted wife and mother to two boys. She enjoyed crocheting and loved working in the yard and cooking.
The family would like to thank Ken Jennings and Joyce Taylor for their continued care of their auntie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Audrey Taylor; husband, Wallace Lindsay; two sisters, Norma Jean Jennings and Carolyn Bishop; two brothers, Mack Taylor and Rudolf “Rudy” Taylor; and son, Robert “Wally” Lindsay.
She is survived by a son, Gary Lindsay of Yorktown, VA; granddaughter, Moriah Lindsay, of Yorktown, VA; sister-in-law, Joyce Taylor, of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews.
