LELAND — Graveside services for Melvin L. “Tank” Young, 59, of Leland, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Holly Grove Mount Elm Cemetery, Dunleith. He died July 29, 2020, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville. Services are under the direction of T.L. Redmon Funeral Home, Cleveland.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Clayton-Young, of Leland; son, Jonathan Bush, of Leland; daughter, Teheshia Brooks, of Atlanta; stepsons, Nikkia Clayton, of Cleveland, and Danny Clayton Sr., of Atlanta; brothers, Richard Young, of Leland, Willie Young, of Chicago, Albert Young, of St. Paul, MN and Eddie Benford, of Hot Springs, SD; sisters, Betty Anthony, of Chicago, Monique Ford, of Leland, and Helen Ackles, of Sterling; and 12 grandchildren.
