Ruby Lee Wright was born Jan. 14, 1951, to the late Mr. Sullie Wright and Mrs. Georgia Ruth Cannon Wright. At a young age, Ruby accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined New Morning Star M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. J.W. Williams. She attended Breisch High School in Leland.

She was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She dedicated much of her time to rearing her children and grandchildren, and she devoted her life to serving Christ. Ruby was united with the body of believers at Beulah Grove M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. H. G. Tucker where she remained a faithful member until the Lord called her home to rest July 29, 2020.
