Willie Lane Sr.
CLEVELAND — Graveside services for Willie Lane Sr., 82, of Cleveland, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Pilgrim Rest, Skene, with the Rev. Freddie Wince officiating. He died Aug. 7, 2020, at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland. Services are under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Cleveland.
He is survived by his wife, Mattie Lane, of Cleveland; sons, Willie Jr., James and Jasper Lane, of Minneapolis, Melvin Lane, of Palmetto, FL, and Edward Lane, of Cleveland; daughters, Alisa Lewis and Brenda Shorter, of Cleveland, and Joyce Coleman, of Minneapolis; brothers, Scott and Robert Lane, of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Mamie Lane and Irma Buchannon, of Akron, and Frankie Lane, of Memphis; 24 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
